Music:

At Redland Primary School we proudly promote our music lessons as a fun, creative and practical aspect of the curriculum. All children follow our ‘music journey’  which ensures that National Curriculum objectives are covered across a 2 year cycle. Whole class music lessons are taught by a specialist music teacher, Pete Williams. Each week, all classes take part in 30 minute singing lessons, also taught by Mr Williams, which compliment their music teaching. 

We are proud to be a ‘Music Mark School’. This recognises our commitment to delivering high quality music education for all of our children.

Other musical opportunities at Redland:

– Nightingales and Puffins have weekly Ukulele lessons taught by specialist teacher, Phil Donovan 

– Music and nurture group run by Mr Donovan

– Peripatetic teaching in guitar, piano, recorder, flute and clarinet

– Christmas performance 

– End of year production
